We praise God for another blessed time of ministry in Africa. In June, 2011 we went to Naivasha, Kenya where we held a conference for church leaders, ministered in outdoor evangelistic meetings, and established yet another Spirit of Grace School of Ministry.
We learned that Naivasha has
been the scene of much violence and even within a couple of years ago there
were missionaries killed there. During the inter-tribal war of 2007 it was
one of the bloodiest regions of Kenya. Men ambushed cars along the road and
slaughtered anyone who happened to be from the wrong tribe. Sometimes local
As a result of these many
problems Naivasha is one of the most under-evangelized areas in all of
Kenya. It has been many years since there was a crusade there, such as we
did, attempting to unite pastors of all the various congregations. Very few
westerners come here, and even native Kenyan evangelists avoid the area. Not

One of our team members stayed behind after the meetings were over to talk to people and record testimonies of some of the great things our Lord did during these meetings. Below are some of the wonderful things he recorded: --- "A Bishop was opposed to the meetings and he told other pastors not to attend. After someone told him the first day what the meeting were like, he couldn't believe it. He came to see for himself so he could criticize what was happening. He left in tears, saying, "Surely the presence of God is with these meetings." He has confessed his evil motive and he is now encouraging other pastors to come together and pray for Naivasha." --- "On Sunday, Pastor Michael's church received 21 converts, PAG – 30 converts, Vineyard – 12 converts, Assemblies of God – 15 converts, Baptist Mission – 19 converts, Light of the World – 9 converts, Truth Ministries - 8 converts, Jesus Celebration Church – 5 converts... Nearly every church that participated was rewarded with souls and they testify of lively services. In some churches they have not seen a new believer for over three years. It was celebration Sunday." --- "The area chief testified saying, for the past one week, there has not been any case of crime reported in this area. This is where criminals live, every day there are cases of crime, rape, and reports of violence. The chief believes the criminals may have become Christians."
Beatrice Kalisto - "Had stomach complications for there years, but she says the doctors say, they cant find any sign of that. She looks like she has never had such disease."
Paul Lukusia - "One of his ears was deaf, he could not hear a thing, after prayer, he says nothing happened but on Tuesday the ear starting itching, and when he coughed the ear opened and he can hear very well."
